7 Months Update

7 Months
You're 7 months old!
April 24
Or at least you were, 3 weeks ago. But you still haven't hit 8 months yet, so I'm not completely late.
May 4
You weight 13 lbs 0.5 ozs (0%ile). You are 26.4 inches (18%ile).
May 11
You wearing primarily 6 months clothes and size 2 diapers.
Why hello there... just hanging out with this awesome toy.
May 13
But most importantly, you're on the move! You'll crawl, or technically army crawl, from one end of the house to the other, especially if you're following someone from room to room. And when you get close you'll literally crawl onto a foot and hold onto someone pants leg in hopes of getting them to pick you up. You're able to sit without worry, although normally when sitting will move into a crawling position, but you can't yet get yourself up.
May 14
Your favorites toys are pretty much anything your sister is playing with. But that seem to love her Minnie Mouse puzzle the best taking all the little pieces out, her Magna Doodle, and various pieces of fake food.
May 20
Speaking of food, while you're getting better, you're not quite there. I think part of it is that you want so badly to eat what everybody else is, but you can't quite manage it. We did try out Cherrios, and while you seem to enjoy them, need to have someone feed you bite after bite. As for new foods we'd attempted, there was pancakes, hummus, mashed potatoes, peaches, pickles, and of course a french fry or two.
May 20
Once again, I'm in awe of how quickly time is flying by. Especially when I realize I'm going to need to start planning your first birthday ASAP to make sure I have enough time.

Of course, here's a comparison with your sister at 7 months as well.

6 Months Update

6 Months
You're 6 months old!
March 26
You weigh 11 lbs 5 ozs (0%ile). You are 25.6 inches long (17th%ile). You have a head circumference of 41.3 cm (4th%ile).
March 30
You're wearing a mix of 3 and 6 month clothes and are in size 2 diapers.
Wearing his big sister's onesie, a gift from @lisasyarns and @amberyharding
April 2
We've started baby foods, and so far you aren't really a fan. Although you have stopped actively pushing it out of your mouth with your tongue, but you tend to let it sit there. So far we've tried avocados, baby oatmeal, bananas, applesauce, pears, peas, carrots, and chicken with gravy. You'll gum on NumNums more willingly, but haven't quite figured out puffs yet.
April 7
You're still just one of the most laid back babies there is. Most times you could care less about having a pacifier. Instead you'd much rather chew on one of your socks or a blanket.
April 8
You aren't crawling yet, but everyday I keep thinking you're almost there. I can tell you're so ready because you want to be able to gum on everything around you. With that said, you are able to sit up on your own now. Although need someone to spot you because you'll liable to fall backwards or forwards at any moment.
Such a good helper! For a belated #nationalsiblingday
April 11
You do like standing. You can't quite balance on your own yet, but as long as someone is willing to hold you hands you're pretty good at balancing.
April 11
It's hard to believe you're already half a year old! Talk about the quickest 6 months ever. Although I have a feeling the next 6 months will fly by even faster.
April 15
Of course, here's a comparison with your sister at 6 months as well.

5 Months Update

5 Months
You're 5 months old! Going back and reading your sister's 5 months update I talk about how so much has changed, and once again that's true. There's just so much that goes on from 4 to 5 months as you leave the newborn stage and become a baby.
February 28
First a few official stats, from your weight check this month. You weigh 10 lbs 11 oz (0%ile), are 25 inches long (17th%ile), and have a head circumference of 41 cm (4.5%ile).
March 3
You're still primarily in 3 months clothing, although several of them have gotten too small. I actually went to pull out your 6 months clothes and found a much of your sister's 3 month clothes I had forgotten about, so I'm trying to squeeze you into them a little longer. We did just move you up to size 2 diapers though.
March 14
You are still just the happiest, most content baby. There's been several times when your daddy has picked you up at daycare and all the other babies are crying and you're just sitting there looking around. In general, as long as there's someone you can see, you're good. You're always smiling and an easy way to make you laugh is to tickle your tummy.
March 15
You're rolling all over the place. Front to back, back to front, whichever way you're currently not. You love playing with your play gym trying to pull all the toys off. You're finally big enough to really enjoy your jumper and bounce around pulling at the various toys.
Someone needs kisses.. Not that he's Irish. #happystpatricksday
March 17
It really is crazy how big you've already gotten. I'm just trying to savor what time we still have where you'll nap in my arms. I just know I'm going to blink and you'll be sprawled all out in a bed for all your naps or even crazier no longer needing naps at all!
Playing together... At least until he accidentally touched her.
March 19
For comparison, here's a look at your sister at 5 months as well.

27 Months Update

27 Months
You're 27 months old! Or really 2 and a quarter years old.
December 30
You weigh 22 lbs and 1 ounce (0.99%ile). You're wearing mainly size 18 months clothes and size 6 shoes. You wear size 4 diapers, although we are in the midst of potty training.
January 2
You really have become a true person, with quite a strong personality. I know my last update I said you weren't talking in complete sentences yet, and that's hard to believe because you talk so well. There are times where pronouns confuse you (saying things like "I want Mommy to carry you,") but overall you talk just like anyone else would.
January 24
You have a crazy memory and can recall a surprising amount. The other day you came home from the grocery store and started listing off all the things you couldn't get. Or if we tell you something at night, you'll ask for it the first thing when you wake up.
February 5
You surprise us some times with the things you say, like when you told me, "Mommy's Shoshanah," or when you said your first and last name together. You know your colors (at least most of the time), can identity left from right (again, at least most of the time), know your shapes, and love counting.
February 12
Your favorite tv shows are ABCD (Wheel of Fortune) and Elena (of Avalor). When we go out to eat you either ask for chicken and french fries or chicken and fruit. You love cheese, to the point we have to limit it or you'd eat an entire block.
February 25
At night when you go to sleep you have a whole menagerie of animals keeping you company. There's Po (your hippo), animal (a seahorse), rabbit (a sock rabbit my mom had sewn), a giant monkey, and four or so books. Your daddy normally puts you to sleep ending each time with reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and Goodnight Moon.
March 3
You're still a little unsure about your brother. Don't get me wrong, if you see him crying you'll make sure he has his bebe, or you'll give him hugs and kisses. But you aren't a fan of Mommy or Daddy holding him when you want our attention and have no problem telling us, "Put Bear in his bed!"
March 10
Honestly, you've become so much fun and spending time with you can be a blast. I will end this post by mentioning that you've started saying "Love you," which is the most awesome thing and sounds so incredibly adorable coming from you.
